





HELICOPTER AQUATIC RESCUE RESPONCE TEAM (HARRT)

ACT team members are trained and equipped for air search and deployment via helicopter. This mission entails high-rise roof-top rescue, open water rescue, and rugged terrain search and rescue. The ACT team is trained and equipped to provide advanced life support water rescue in all the various water conditions found in rivers, open water, marsh and swamp, and swift water flooding conditions. ACT team members are trained in accordance with the National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR) and American Search and Rescue (AMSAR) standards for locating, treating, and evacuating missing persons or persons injured in remote and inaccessible areas.
The Rescue Company 1 Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (TRCI-HART) is a division of ACT Medical Solutions. This team is made up of civilians that are trained as critical care flight paramedics/Nurses, helicopter rescue technicians, ocean rescue lifeguards and swiftwater/floodwater rescue technicians. This highly specialized aerial search and rescue team provides an air asset for the citizens of Florida and the nation to respond to natural and man made disasters incidents. Team members receive technical training that prepares them to engage in hostile environmental conditions both urban, open ocean and wilderness setting. TRC 1-HART members risk their lives so that others may live.
